Why you should visit Portmeirion, Wales

This private Italian-style village was conceived over 90 years ago by Sir Clough Williams-Ellis.

I visited as part of my bank holiday staycation in Wales, mainly just to stroll around for a few hours… and for some whiskey gelato.

The North Wales tourist attraction is like nothing else in the British Isles, and on a sunny day you could easily mistake yourself for being on the Amalfi coast.

Just see for yourself…
